National Leaders Meeting 2026 in Värmland!
This year's national leader meeting will be held at Selma Spa in Sunne on October 6-7. The meeting, which brings together all of Leader Sweden for inspiration and exchange of experiences, is being held in collaboration with Leader Närheten and Leader 7-sam Värmland.

We are looking for a project manager!

We are looking for a project manager for the Leader project Vänerresurs 2.0.
The main purpose of the project is to strengthen the development of Lake Vänern's fishing resources from a sustainability perspective. The project is a collaborative project between three Leader areas around Lake Vänern, Leader Neighbourhood, Leader Future Villages and Leader North-West Skaraborg.

Leader Närheten and Leader 7-sam Värmland are preparing for a communication project that includes the production of a number of films according to the concept "We, the Country Builders". Media agencies interested in the assignment? Read and submit a response to our request for proposals - no later than January 20th.

Follow-up of the 2023 financial year
Leader Närheten has now compiled the annual follow-up and evaluation that is reported to the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

Approved projects nearby in 2022
In 2022, Leader Neighbourhood has prioritized and received decisions for 10 projects, two of which are LAG-owned. In addition to these, three projects that were prioritized in 2021 have received their formal decision. We are happy and proud to present a total of 13 projects that have received their formal decision of Approval from the Swedish Board of Agriculture in 2022:
