Implement
Once you have received a formal decision from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, it's time to get started!
Follow the decision!
Once you have received the formal decision that the Swedish Board of Agriculture approves your application, you can start working on the implementation of your project. It is very important that you follow the decision to avoid risking deductions from the support! The project must implement planned activities and work to achieve its purpose and goals.
Write it down and save!
Be careful to write down the working hours worked on the project – including the voluntary working hours which should also be reported when the project is complete.
Self-employed individuals can include "Own work" in projects, which is reported in the Project Diary form.
All eligible expenses incurred in the project must be reported when applying for payment, so keep receipts and invoices in good order.
Also save documents such as participant lists at conferences and if you offer coffee or lunch in the project.
Changes
If something happens during the project that affects your ability to follow the decision, you may need to make a Request for Change of Decision. You may need to adjust the end date, change the budget, or rework an activity.
Always contact the leader office for advice if something happens that affects the plans, and we will help you further.
Payment application
The application for payment is also made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service.
You can apply for an advance at any time during the project, if needed to meet liquidity requirements. Possible advance payments are calculated based on the size of the budget.
Application for advance payment Basically, it only contains one question about how much advance you want! For partial payment and final payment, there is more to fill out.
Once the project has accrued expenses for completed activities, you can apply for partial payment, one or more times during the project period. Feel free to apply for partial payment at an early stage. For example, you can apply every quarter or after a period when you have had many or large expenses. All supporting documents from the period for which you are applying for partial payment must be included in the application and you must have paid and booked all expenses. It is important that the expenses are reported separately so that it is clear that the expenses belong to the project and not to your regular activities. The expenses must be clearly linked to the activities in your budget.
You may apply for payment for expenses incurred from the date your "Application for support" was received by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
If you forget an expense, you can bring it with you the next time you apply for a payment and write an explanation. When applying for a partial payment, you should describe what has happened in the investment or project and what the reported expenses have been used for.
You should also write a brief report on the activities that have been carried out so far and how the project is progressing.
Below you can see a flowchart of the project process.
You can read clarifications on concepts that we use in the project process by clicking on the "Clarifications" button, please read them through.
The flowchart and clarifications give you an overall picture of how the process works.

Information requirements and logos
IMPORTANT!! If you as a project owner provide information about your project in any way – on your website, in social media or in printed material – it must be clear that the project is financed with funds from the EU. Therefore, the EU emblem with the accompanying text must always be included on the page/material. The EU emblem must be at least as large in height or width as the other logos on the page and placed on a white background/with a white frame. You will also receive rules regarding the design and information requirements with your decision.
Also include the Leader Neighbourhood logo in your information material.
Correct logos to download can be found here.
The EU emblem is available in two designs to choose from; horizontal and vertical.

NOTE: Regarding the Payment Application:.
When it comes to the Partial Payment Application and the Final Payment Application, it is important that it is correct! Especially when applying for a final payment, as it becomes more difficult to supplement afterwards. We therefore recommend that you save your draft and email the application as a PDF to us so that we can review it and provide feedback before you choose to submit it by pressing the "Review and submit" button.
We at the office are here to support and answer questions!
